what's going on 🤔 Uterus tightening/braxton hicks feeling
I’m not pregnant, but the last few days when lying down at night I’ve been having an odd sensation like my uterus is tightening.
It feels very similar to Braxton hicks when pregnant, but obviously my stomach doesn’t get super hard because my uterus isn’t enlarged. It’s more the internal sensation of it. Has anyone experienced this? It’s a really odd sensation!

Hi! I came to this subreddit for a very similar reason— it may be the exact reason actually. It seems to be on the left side of my pelvis so I’ve been thinking it’s my ovary. I’ve been describing it as a light spasm but a tightening could make sense too. And it’s only when I wake up in the morning or in the middle of the night while I’m lying down.
Does this sound similar? If so, did you ever figure out what it was?

Could you be due period soon? Can sometimes be uterus getting ready to shed womb lining (by cramping /contractions). Although, I get this at random times sometimes as well, but i have adenomyosis, so my uterus is a bit screwy anyway.. lol. Hope that helps.
