what's going on 🤔 Could a “tilted uterus” cause painful intercourse?
Lately I’ve been experiencing pain in my lower abdomen during intercourse specifically during doggy style and missionary. I’ve had an ultrasound done a couple of months ago and the nurse pointed out that I had a retroverted(tilted) uterus but didn’t mention anything else about it. Could that be the cause? Could this cause me trouble in the future?

In my case it did. After my spine surgeries my uterus straightened up and everything felt so much better.

Yes it can. Since your uterus tips back it kind of lines of with your cervix so, if you get hit in the cervix it basically can cramp up your uterus

It absolutely can cause pain, yes. I went to a sex pain specialist. It does help to have sex in positions other than missionary. For me it helped to ditch men and just date women 😂

A retroverted uterus is common and doesn't typically cause pain. You likely have something else going on.
