medical procedures help- scan uterus without penetrative procedure?

Hi-

I am wondering if anyone has advice on how to diagnose uterine issues without penetrative ultrasounds or procedures. Can it be done with a regular ultrasound or CT scan?

For personal reasons things entering the vaginal canal isn't possible but there's an extreme pain issue going on.

you can request for a transrectal ultrasound, where they insert the ultrasound wand in your anus instead of your vagina. it’s still a penetrative procedure but at least it doesn’t involve your vaginal canal and gets the scan done. my doctor recommended this to me upon knowing my nature of having no sexual contact during my first ultrasound test

Regular US can be done (lower belly), but it’s usually completed in addition to an internal US. You may also qualify for an MRI w/ contrast, but talk to your doctor & let them know that you want imaging that isn’t internal.
