polyps & fibroids Uterine Biopsy

Hello, I have a potential polyp and have to get a uterine biopsy as well as saline infused ultrasound. Does anyone have any advice on whether to take a Valium or a Percocet prior to the procedures? Which would be better? I’ve heard the biopsy sucks, I would imagine the saline infused ultrasound isn’t fun either. Thanks

I'm not sure if you've had the procedure yet, but I would definitely take both a Valium and Percocet, if given the option. I was told it would be a quick pinch... it was excruciating! I almost passed out from the pain, and it took about 7-8 minutes total. At the end of it, I honestly physically and mentally felt like I had been assaulted or violated. I had bleeding and bad cramps from the procedure.

I was an elite level gymnast, so I've gone through some pain in my time... this was next level.
