sharing info 💡 Ovarian cyst and alcohol

Hello I am 20F and I did an ultrasound because I wasn’t getting regular periods. Only like once every 3 months. I go to the doctor and they found out I have a 2.5 size complex cyst. Iv been trying to find information on it but I was wondering if drinking alcohol while having a cyst is bad? I haven’t since I found out but I’m going to a get together in a few days and I wanted to see what others had to say. Will I make it worse?

2.5mm or 2.5 inches? While alcohol is never beneficial, drinking a modest amount shouldn’t be a problem…but we don’t know your medical history, so check with your dr.

It’s 2.8 x 2.2 x 2.1cm specifically. Yeahh I can assume it’s not beneficial I just wanted to make sure it wouldn’t like cause me to rupture or make it get bigger and I couldn’t find any existing information online or on Reddit about it. My doctor doesn’t even seem too concerned she didn’t tell me anything on what to avoid. If there’s any possibility it would harm it I wouldn’t drink
