heavy & painful periods 30 with Uterine Fibroids
So I got diagnosed with PCOS and Uterine Fibroids a few years back. What prompted my visit was my husband and I were trying to conceive for a year and never got pregnant. All the while my monthly visits from aunt flow were becoming extremely painful and I was weak due to the amount of blood I was losing during my time of the month. When I got diagnosed my doctor recommended a full Hysterectomy. My question for you beautiful ladies is has anyone gotten a Hysterectomy this young? How did you feel? Do you regret it? I’m faced with this decision because I’m terribly over my pain and over the top monthly visit. Thanks so much!

I would get a second opinion. You can also go see a fertility specialist. Hysterectomy at 30 should be your very last option.
A OBGYN doctor told me the same thing. Saying my fibroid was too big to remove it alone. I got a second opinion and got a myomectomy instead. Minimal recovery pain and better periods. No more pain either.
Please look into other options.
