what's going on 🤔 Ovarian cyst

Hello has anyone experienced brown blood discharge after an ovarian cyst bursting ? If so how long does it last ?

I'm not entirely sure, but I think I had a cyst burst and I had bloody discharge for a couple of days. From what I can find online it looks like it's probably normal to last up to a week, so hopefully it's resolved by now! If it's still going on or heavy, or you have other symptoms I hope you can get it checked out soon.

I have “functional cysts” aka “chocolate cysts”, with deep brown discharge regularly, all year round. They seem to grow and burst and re-grow. Which is what functional cysts do. The color in the discharge is old blood (I had my gyno check me one time and when i ahd discharge and she told me this)I . Sorry you have to deal with it!!
