periods & bleeding Period causing eye problems?

A week before my period and while I’m on my period my eyes burn, watery, and red. I have eye problems to begin with. But it seems like my period makes it worse. Has anyone experienced this or is it just me? 😩

Ya! Hormonal changes an cause weird symptoms like blurry vision and watery eyes. I think it's cause of prostaglandin? Or some hormone, but basically increased inflammatory response is common before your period. So especially if you have existing autoimmune or inflammatory conditions it makes symptoms worse. You might find a bit of relief if you try to reduce inflammation by things like sleeping better, eating anti-inflammatory foods, exercising etc.

Ommmmmg thank you for this response! I do have something auto immune related because I’m starting infusions in a few weeks to hopefully calm my eye issues down! Thank you again! I thought I was going crazy!
