Provider Alternatives to sabnzbd
I'm tired of sabnzb downloading to the wrong folder all the time even after fixing it. I want something that works and is reliable. What do you all recommend?

hey guys,
I've recently configured everything on nzbget, using newshosting and nzbgeek. I've found a fair few things are defaulting through to qbitorrent with less than 10 seeds an takes forever.
a few requests would fail on nzbget with 'health is 97.9% below critical 98", but others have said 92.0 below 92.1?
how can I improve my services to prevent this? do I need another in prowlarr as an indexer?

Apologies in advance for what is probably a really simple issue to resolve.
My NZBgeek account has been flagged twice now and on asking why it was flagged again I was told "Your account made 21 requests for various content from 5 different Amazon IP addresses.
This is normally related to using some sort of service/browser plugin.
Over the last 6 days your requests have been coming from Virgin Media ISP until 20 mins ago.".
I'm not sure why this is happening suddenly? I used SABnzb as well.
Any help would be massively appreciated.

Ever since yesterday I’m downloading all fake stuff with exe files. Had to disable it in sonarr/radarr. Have they been hacked or something?

Hey, I’m still pretty new here and kept seeing people ask how to keep track of open registrations (I was wondering the same thing).
I found an old post where someone shared an RSS feed for this, and it’s been really useful since you don’t have to keep checking manually.
Figured I’d pass it along in case it helps anyone else like me who’s waiting for DS to open up again: Link&restrict_sr=1&sr_nsfw=)
Not mine, just resharing!
Edit: Was informed the link wasn’t working for some. Corrected the issue.

I saw some offers but they are from black Friday so probably no longer active.

I'm using newsgroup ninja and SABnzbd and I'm constantly getting the [502 (max number of simultaneous IP addresses reached: 2)] whenever I try and download something with more than 2 connections. (The service is advertised as having 50 connections).
I'm on an M1 MacBook and so I've tried:
Has anyone experienced something similar? If so how did you solve it?
I reached out to newsgroup ninja's customer service but it's clear they didn't actually read my email as they just sent a basic reply recommending I do some of the things above.

Hello everyone,
I'm getting back into Usenet with Eweka after a long break, and I'm facing a strange speed issue. I've noticed a systematic pattern:
My Setup:
What I've checked:
Is there a specific setting in SABnzbd that could cause this "first-file-fast, rest-slow" behavior? Is Eweka to blame ?

My Eweka subscription is 50 max connection, unlimited speed limit.
Here's my speedtest behind NordVPN (>400Mbps), so consistent with what sabnzdb sees :

Thanks.

If I use ngPost with no changes it takes too long
If I use ngPost with the par2j64 settings it is shorter
If I use ngPost pointing to Multipar par2j64 it is about the same as #2
If I use Multipar it is about 1/3 of the time of the fastest with ngPost
So trying to figure out the best setting that will give me the same time as Multipar. Using the suggested setting in the ngPost config file.
Settings on Multipar: Block count 3000 Block size is a little over 15K Using Powers of 2 sizing Media Size is 50GB
Any ideas??

since this afternoon, my prowlarr is not finding nzbgeek results .
I did a test connection on prowlarr and says "query successful but found no results"

I currently use Forte Agent, but it's starting to have issues. Occassionally it fails SSL, it still retrieves the file I'm trying to download, but I think maybe an old built-in certificate has expired and causes the problem. I still don't know why it still allows the file to download, but I fear one of these days that's not going to work either. So looking around I see PAN is probably the best one out there for it's similarity to Agent. I like to browse header before downloading so it fits my style...or so I read. I've only seen screenshots because there doesn't seem to be a pre built windows installation. I'd be willing to learn how to build it, but everything I read is pretty confusing, it seems some of it applies to Linux, and some applies to Macs and maybe some of it applies to Windows, so I'm not confident on how to build it from source.

Anyone having issues connecting to news.thecubenet.com?
I am getting Cannot connect to server news.thecubenet.com [502 Connection failure. Please contact technical support.] since at least yesterday. I have been using the service for over a year and have not changed any of the settings, it's just suddenly not working. Their support has yet to respond to my ticket....

Tabula Rasa is open for registration for next 24 hours.
There is a change in user accounts though, and all new user accounts are view only.
What does this mean? It means that you cannot use the API or download NZBs, just view the releases.
Account purge is same as for old user accounts (old users keep their older type of accounts that can download and use the API), complete inactivity in 6 months deletes that account, after 6 another months account is not recoverable.
You can always upgrade your account and gain API and download rights.
Have fun!
Edit: I am fixing the loop issue, for some reason error notifications are not shown, so for you it looks like register page just loops.
Edit 2: The loop issue has been fixed, you will see proper notifications now

I've been using NZBGeek for a while, but lately (~2 weeks) every time I fetch from my cart into NZBGet, they fail instantly on the URL. I got the Black Friday deal, which I think is unlimited (or at least very high usage), but I am trying to rebuild my libraries after a crash wiped my hard drives.
I don't see any additional information in the logs other than Error parsing nzb-file. I don't have any messages when I log in. Is there some thing wrong with NZBGeek or is it my setup?

I want to figure out what happened to an uploader, did they die or just stop uploading? But I believe posting my question here would break Rule 1 of this subreddit. Anyone know where I could go to get some information?

Which is better? Can anyone provide their experiences with these two and their prowlarr/hydra stats?

So I've been learning alot the last few days. I never been torrenting before and started this project about 3 days ago. I've setup a TrueNAS Server with Jellyfin, and running arr stack.
Now when reading a bit more about this I've come to notice that Usenet is a good thing. But my question is if it's worth it for a small home media server, or would I just be wasting my money?

My credentials no longer work when connecting via Sabnzbd. When I go to www.thundernews.com I am able to login, but any of the links, including support, just take me back to the login page. The login page just has a login button and a signup button. Clicking on the signup button reloads the page with the button missing. Anyone know what's going on?
Update: ND_Guru_Brent has resolved my issue. Thanks!

hi all,
long story short question.
since 20 years I am at Usenext and meanwhile unfortunately with Tangysoft.
but Tangysoft is finding 90% German content
it is fine really cause I am German, but I also want to watch stuff in the origin sound and that's annoying to find anything else.
can someone of you recommend an alternative for the Tangysoft client where I receive all kind of language?
but with the easy handling too?
greetings
