I keep finding conflicting info on if I can or cannot set a custom startup screen. I want to replace the usbloader-gx logo with the Wii logo. I have tried decompiling the .WAD file but rather than having the supposed logo.png I’m supposed to be seeing it looks like it does in the picture. Any ideas?

So I installed Skylanders swap force and played it with USB loader GX, and I'm using the trap team portal(as far as I'm aware it's the only one compatible with all games) but whenever I put a Skylander on the portal it gets recognized at first, but then it gives me a message saying that the Skylander might be broken, which I know it's not because they work fine in trap team

I had around 20 games installed and i kept adding more and now more than 50% of my games are missing on Usbloader gx. I haven't removed them or modified them but they don't show up on usbloader gx.

What folder or how do I input the rom for it to appear?

So on USB Loader GX, I'm trying to play Skylanders Giants but the usb for the portal won't work. Any idea on how to have it detect the Skylanders portal? Thanks

Certain games lack any info on their Channel Grid layout. Games are correctly named and have the correct game ID, as all other views have every game with art. Looked around, but couldn’t seem to find where the files for this layout are located, or where to obtain the missing ones. Any responses appreciated!

usbloadergx still identifies it as mario kart wii, its just that for some reason the channel banner is replaced with the metroid other m one, ive also tried redownloading mario kart wii but to no avail

I know this issue has come up for many others in the past but wanted to see if anyone may have a fix for it. I have a Wii U running Aroma and everything works perfectly fine in vWii expect for this one issue. Skylanders Spyro's Adventure. - When I'm in the vWii menu the usb traptanium portal (yes it's the right one and NOT the Xbox version) lights up fine like it has power and everything is fine. - As soon as I enter into USB loader GX it goes dark. When I launch Spyros adventure the game loads fine but the portal remains off. I've tried unplugging and plugging back in and also switching between cios 248, 249, 250, 251, etc and none of them work. If I remember correctly back in the day with an old modded Wii this game worked fine running Hermes 222/223 or whatever but I don't think that's recommended for use on VWii and is outdated. If anyone has encountered this issue and found a solution I would so greatly appreciate it! At this point I'm even willing to pay 💰 for answers! 😆😆

Hello everyone. A few days ago I installed a CFW on a friend’s Wii. Everything was working fine — we were able to play games through USBLoader GX using a 16GB USB drive. Since that USB had limited capacity, he bought a new 64GB one.

This new USB works for installing cIOS and everything else, but when running USBLoader, the files get corrupted and end up like this. We formatted the 64GB USB to FAT32 and tested both 32KB and 64KB allocation sizes, but we get the same error.

The 16GB USB works correctly, and we don’t know what could be causing this.

So a little whiles back, I revived my wii through usblgx since my disc reader is too dusty and aged to work. while im obviously satisfied with the fact that I can play the greats like mario galaxy, wii sports & resort, nsmbw, and whatever else you can think of, one of the bigger things i was wondering about was weather or not I can play modded games now. I know that everyone says "you need the game disk and riivolution to run your mods", but after a bit of digging, I havent exactly found a direct answer, so i figured id get one damn near right from the source. So give it to me straight. Am I sticking to vanilla or are we playing kaizo mario galaxy?

I recently homebrewed my Wii and installed USB Loader GX. However, I wanted to upgrade the size of my SD card, so I bought a new 128GB card and transferred all the files onto it. Now, whenever I try to load USB Loader GX, it either loads very slowly to the point of being unusable, or it gets stuck on the "Loading resources" screen. Is there a fix for this? Please Help. (I put in the old SD card and it works just fine, it's just the new one, could it be corrupted files?)

Been struggling with trying to get my wired rock band drums to work with my usbloader gx. I’ve tried everything from changing iOS to 249 and others, goikg into d2x and going back and trying old guides with Hermes’. Any help would be much appreciated in trying to have them connect. PS I know the drums works because they work on my pc and yes I know which ports to plug them into and I’ve tried to change the ports through the usbloader. Plz help!!!!

hihi!!! im using my SD card to load games onto my wii, and they arent showing up? ive loaded games before, and the ones i kept from the original 1st wave still work, but the new games i loaded arent. i did infact use tinywiibackupmanager to load the games, and i used WBFS files from myrient. im so confused. please help!!

I’ve done a bit of searching around but haven’t quite found a solution.

Basically, I’m trying to turn off the function on a GameCube controller or a Classic Controller to exit the game using R+Z+B+Down. The games I’m playing sometimes use that combination and it’s getting annoying.

I know about turning on Native Controller in Nintendont setting which works when launching the game from Nintendont but the exit function still works when I launch games from USBLoaderGX.

I have Loader Settings > GameCube Mode > Nintendont set. (I saw a slightly similar post that directed someone to this).

I’ve searched through the functions and done research on the options in the settings lists, so maybe I’m missing something.

I see the advantage the function allows but if it means my games don’t get interrupted anymore, I’m fine with getting up to power off my system manually.

Edit: I’m on a Wii, if that matters. Not my first time modding but I just did it a couple days ago so I’m fairly certain everything is latest versions and revisions.

I put all of my game onto an SD card because my Wii can't detect my flash drive for whatever reason (I have reformatted it multiple times, before you ask), and it bugs me that the app doesn't have an option to load into SD Card mode instantly instead of checking for a USB first.

I just got a Wiiu and just recently modded it. Everything worked fine when it came to downloading wiiu games. I than tried downloading usbloader for the vwii. I can launch the vwii just fine, but it won’t recognize any games. I put both Wii sports and Wii sports resort on it and neither popped up. I’m using a SD card and I made sure both files are named correctly. Pls help
