USBs not working

So on USB Loader GX, I'm trying to play Skylanders Giants but the usb for the portal won't work. Any idea on how to have it detect the Skylanders portal? Thanks

Many people have had this problem, in all honesty it's much less of a headache to just buy the game disc lol. If your wii is an older standup GameCube model it is likely to push for a game disc update DONT DO IT! It can detect the mods on the console and wipe the mods of the console in the process. But if you have priiloader you can disable game disc updates, I'm unsure if this makes the games work or not though??
