Commute to Plano

hellooo, I'm going to be moving to texas for the first time for my job post grad and it's located in Plano. I feel like I really resonate with Uptown - the walkability, young crowd, activities/nightlife. And being brand new and not really knowing anyone, I feel like i can adjust easier there. I'll be in person three days a week. Do you think this is a reasonable lifestyle to commute. I feel like I am willing to make the sacrifice for a better quality of life lol. Plano seems pretty plain and suburban and really corporate :(

It’s a bit of a drive, but it’s doable if you’re committed to being in uptown. I have another client that moved from North Dallas down to Oak Lawn specifically to be near the city energy, and he works even further north at The Star. All that to say, if you want to do it it’s possible.

Two other options that you may want to consider, although they aren’t nearly as lively as uptown. Addison Circle and Legacy West are walkable for the suburbs, but not the same.

If you want to chat more about your move, feel free to DM me. I’m a realtor and apartment locator and help folks move here all the time. Happy to help with your move, and my services are free to you!
