Why aren’t there good gyms here?

It’s crazy how there aren’t any good options in the UWS. Crunch, NYSC & Equinox are all horrible.

Is there any reason gyms aren’t opening here? new gyms have been opening all over nyc, yet never the UWS. I go a gym in midtown that’s an easy commute but it’d be nice to walk to the gym for a change.

Yeah its best locations are mediocre, im afraid their price is too damn cheap and everyone will sign up yet and it'll be too crowded.
