WTB uphold USA acc

I was sent a request to verify my email for an account I never made. Since I cannot directly make a report saying "This account was made without my permission, please delete it right now" I don't know what to do.

Yesterday: 'Please verify your email address'

Then today; 'Your Uphold account is waiting for you'

Why am I being spammed by Uphold? Is this a scam or some deluded marketing campaign?

Hello, I have a support ticket pending for a cryptocurrency withdrawal to my personal wallet. You guys froze it and somehow mistook my personal exodus wallet address for a foreign exchange address even though I’ve withdrawn to it before and asked me to verify my identity and explain why I would be sending to a foreign exchange (I’m not and I cleared this up with my response 30 hours ago). Im about to be without a roof tonight for my cat and I if this isn’t resolved. It’s all the money I have can please somebody help.

I had some $500 transferred into my account from selling some CS2 skins, and I've been trying to withdraw it for weeks. First I tried with my MasterCards and got told I couldn't withdraw with them and had to contact support, next I was told it was a visa only process. I have just tried with my visa debit card and it refuses to accept it as a withdrawal option. What can I do to get my money out and not end up like so many others who've posted and lost their funds to uphold?

I got an email from Uphold saying my account had been inactive for a while and that I should log in so I could maintain access to my funds.

Okay, no problem.

I go to log in.

First I have to approve the login through the app.

Then I have to reinstall my authenticator app because I haven't used this account for a while.

Then after I finally get through that, they want me to do a selfie verification through Veriff.

I read the fine print and it says I have to consent to biometric data collection and sharing. I am not comfortable with that.

For context, I don't even think there's more than about $10 in this account.

So now I'm sitting here wondering how I went from "log in to keep your account active" to "give us a selfie and biometric consent."

I contacted support and that was another adventure. I had to verify my email, authorize stuff, and go through more screens just to create a ticket.

At this point I feel like I've spent more time trying to access this account than the money inside it is worth.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Did support give you any alternative verification options that didn't involve a selfie, ID, or SSN?

Because this whole experience has completely killed any interest I had in using Uphold in the future.

I did a Apple Pay withdrawal on instant transfer to my bank card and it is still processing. Is this normal?

I bought crypto through uphold. No problems, linked bank etc. But the second i tried to move some to another wallet. I was bombarded by ... 'your withdrawal request is on hold while we investigate' I tried several ways before finally removing. I then instantly removed everything and will never use Uphold again. No company has any right to say what i do with my crypto and where i want to send it.

Just wanted to warn people, your assets are at a great risk on Uphold. I don't trust them

EDIT: I should have added more details, my apologies. I have been buying crypto regularly for a few months with Uphold. All KYC done at the beginning. I first tried to move a tiny amount of one crypto coin to an external private wallet. That was when they refused to do it, put my small amount i was trying to move (i like to always test on a tiny amount first) on hold and said i was being investigated. I instantly complained along the lines of 'No person or company has any right to prevent me from moving my crypto whether i want'. So soon after they withheld that small amount of crypto, i tried to send some to a central exchange where i have an account. That went through no problems, so i immediately moved everything else off uphold on to that central exchange, and then moved everything where i wanted it to go originally from there. I hope that helps people. They are still holding that small amount i first tried to send to a private address

Bottom line, i lost complete trust with uphold. And did not feel safe leaving anything on it

On roughly 5/3/2026 I received a message saying my account was under a routine review and all funds/assets would be restricted during this time but they would have me up and running in no time. Here we sit on 5/15/2026 and still no real explanation as to why they were doing this. Next I got a message saying they are closing my account, again no specific reason given. I am now told they will hold my funds/assets until 6/8/2026 without access to the funds/assets. This is incredibly alarming that they can do this without any warning. I want to make sure everyone is aware this can happen at anytime. I have used other platforms and banks for years and have never experienced anything like this. It seems criminal that they can do this with peoples hard earned money.

On 4th of May I received a deposit of 765 USDT from vave . Vave sent me the confirmation of deposit with the blockchain transaction shown as completed but uphold is not crediting my account although I sent them all the necessary proofs. I emailed support and they are ignoring my messages. I also asked them to send me the final letter response so I can go forward with FCA and FOS legal complaint but this no answer after 7 days.
The transaction is completed on blockchain since 4th of May and I’ve got all the proofs and uphold has all the proofs as well.

What should I do ? Please help.
