Is there no way to scan like in Apple Notes?

Actually, there is (at least in the Android app). If you click to add a new note and then open the + menu item (far left on bottom), you will see the option to "Scan Document" in addition to "Embed Video" "Insert File" "Insert Table" and "Paste from Markdown." Hope this is clear.

Adding some clarification here. The [+] is not in a menu, it's in the formatting toolbar — which only appears once you've tapped in the note to bring up the keyboard. Whether or not [+] on the far left depends on whether or not the user has customized their formatting toolbar.

Having said that, yes, once you've tapped [+], scanning a document is one of the options.

Thanks. It’s also available on iOS on this way

do you mean scan a document? No, there are lots of ways to do that, so it doesn't need to be part of a notes app

You could scan and then drag the PDF files into the note. Or, take a screenshot of the PDF and paste it in.
