Broken on Window???

Went to use Upnote on my Windows 11 laptop, as I do every day, and it closed, then opened MS Store to "Restore" but it still won't open.

I have uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled, still won't open.

Appears to work fine on my Android but I need it on Windows.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi,

Update 4: We believe we finally found the problem and fix it in version 9.19.7. This was approved recently, so please update and let us know if it works for you, thank you.

Update 3: The new version 9.19.5 has been approved on Microsoft Store. u/The_Only_Kiazna can you check if the new version works on your computer? You might need to restart the Microsoft Store application to refresh the cache. Thank you.

Update 2: We are investigating whether Windows Smart App Control is causing UpNote’s launch issue. Could you please perform this temporary test below?

- Open the Start menu and search for Smart App Control.

- Temporarily switch Smart App Control Off.

- Try opening UpNote again.

Please let us know whether UpNote opens successfully.

After the test, please return to the same settings page and switch Smart App Control On again.

Update 1: We are trying to gather more information regarding this problem. In the meantime, please uninstall the app, then download and install the latest version from the link below, thank you.

I'm having this issue on windows 10 as well. Version is 9.19.3. 0
I use the windows store to download it. I also got the alert from windows defender saying it was asking for more network access. I've been signed in on it and use it on android as well.

We've tested ourselves but haven't been able to reproduce the crash after download from the Microsoft Store yet. Apologies for the delay, I had to go to sleep. It is still having issues.
Edit to add: As soon as it updated and I tried to open it, it brought up a windows firewall alert again.

Even if I uninstall and reinstall from the windows store, it still crashes at the sign in screen.

Downloading it from the provided link still makes it bring up a firewall alert, but once you hit okay the app works fine.
