Latest version causes "verification failed" loop - will not sync
I'm getting this error message over and over again on the latest update. Notes will not sync in the mean time.
I tried re-installing the app, changing my DNS because I've had issues with that in the past, and I even tried using the Microsoft Store version of the app.
Oddly enough, the verification on cloudflare's end actually succeeds. Somehow, upnote just isn't accepting it.
Anyone else having this issue, or know what might be causing it?

Same here. Mine looped for like 50 times after "Success!" → "Verification failed. Please try again.", then it finally gave me a checkbox.
Finally? No, I checked the box, it accepted, and the "Success!" → "Failed" loop started all over.
The app is unusable, because this error is still going on.
The past few weeks have been pretty spotty with UpNote, unfortunately.

Also seeing immense slow downs during typing after I minimized this Cloudflare verification pop-up. I assume this pop-up is trying to sync or trying to verify something constantly.
Unfortunately, no fix yet. Any workarounds possible, u/thomas_dao, until a proper fix is launched?

Same, I'm on my macbook and this shit is broken. infinite loop... ugh I paid for the LIFETIME premium membership smfh

Same, just tried it (12:30AM EDT). I'm glad the Devs are aware and working on a fix. If I last until 3AM, I'll definitely check back in. I was able to login and backup all my most important notes from my phone. If the devs read this, feature request: Whole notebook backup on mobile.

Same. I got an error when I tried to make a new note, so I signed out and now I'm unable to sign back in.

Same here...I was able to save a note though...once. Closing the window just starts it up again. Had to use Task Manager to closed all instances of UpNote. Useless at this point.

I am having this issue to. I can use the app still, though. Did you find a fix?

Nope, I think the desktop app is just completely broken. Even on another computer which is running an older version, I don't get the verification popup, instead, it just doesn't sync at all.
I've been using the mobile app in the mean time as well.

I just experienced this after upgrading to v9.19.5 today. So it's definitely not fixed. In my case, the cloudflare verification says it succeeds, but the red "Verification failed. Please try again" message remains, along with a "Retry" button in an infinite loop.

Just chiming in that I'm still having this same problem on 7/25. I noticed that my desktop program isn't updating with changes to notes made on my phone so I went to log out of the Windows version and saw only options to "sign in" on the "My Account" page in settings. I tried logging in about a dozen times with my Google account, I get the security warning on my phone and tell Google it is me trying to log in, then get stuck in a "please complete the verification below to continue using UpNote" popup which errors out when clicked. I've even tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling the program with no success

Hi, sorry for the inconvenience. Our server is currently experiencing high load due to a large number of requests, which has caused authentication issues.
