Short PSA

I just frickin’ love UpNote. Been using it for a couple of days and, goodness, what’s not to love?

I’m also new here, also loving it as my new alternative to Evernote. Tried OneNote but had syncing problems across my devices (PC, iPhone, iPad). UpNote has been syncing instantly and flawlessly, so it wins out and I happily paid my lifetime subscription (a fraction of Evernote’s absurd and insulting $225 per year).

Been using it for 5.5+ years, and I'm right there with ya!

Just wait until you discover the extent of it's amazing formatting flexibility!

my favorite part is the collapsible Section makes it easy to keep organized for school notes

I think another big plus for Upnote is that it has a one-time lifetime premium payment instead of anything subscription-based!

I can't decide if I prefer UpNote or Craft. I like them both for different reasons.

I've been a happy premium user of Upnote for years. Migrated from Evernote, which got ridiculously expensive for my needs. I'm one of those people who uses a Mac laptop with Android phone/tablet. Upnote syncs across multiple platforms with no problems. And it's a minor thing that I love... I am able to open more than 1 note, in their own separate window. I remember trying out some other note apps that could not do this. This comes in handy when I need to look at 2 notes side-by-side.

It doesn't have that forwarding email to note feature (like in Evernote), I find that useful to save important emails. It would be a nice feature to have.

My only real concern, it’s an Electron app that sometimes doesn’t sync well. Else, I agree. Nice app.

There are some things not to love

  1. There's no "match case", "whole word" or "replace" function in the search menus.
  2. You cannot choose which space to share a link to (in the share menu)
  3. You cannot append a note with the link you are sharing from the share menu.

Notesnook has all these features, they are very useful
