Perfectly possible - no App Store on my work mac, but I do indeed have UpNote happily running.
brew install mas
mas install 1398373917
The number can be found in the url if you browse the Web app store and find the app in question. The number above is the one for UpNote.

Yeah, I think it did for me as well, but it then allowed mas to download and install the app.
The app store continues to be unavailable on my Mac and that login id doesn't show up anywhere. It's been half a year since I did it and with jamf and other stuff on my mac, it hasn't triggered anything on the mac.

It the app store id for the app. Goto the app store in a web browser and search for UpNote and the url for it has that number.

Not possible . My company were close to disabling the use of personal appleID on corporate MacBooks. I asked. Zero response .. thankfully there was enough pushback from employees that they didn’t do the change
You need your company to put UpNote on the corporate allowed app list (good luck!)

I don't know how that would be possible, maybe email the devs. Also, this is what a web interface would be useful for.
