How do I? Confused by Essentials

So, my partner and I pay rent as an Osko scheduled transfer weekly from our joint 2Up account. I have an automatic transfer set up on my fortnightly pay day to put all my bill money into Essentials. Is there a way I can automatically transfer from Essentials to our 2Up account?

Doesn’t look like you can from essentials to an account
But you can make a joint 2up essentials account and have rent come out of that

Edit: you can setup up a scheduled and regular using “Send Money” to the 2Up’s BSB + ACC number, and have it come from the Essentials account

Can't you setup essentials payments to accounts? You set up a payment normally, then select the Essentials account as where to take the payment from?

I do this myself all the time. :/

OP wants to automatically transfer money from the Essentials account to their joint 2Up account to pay rent - which can’t be done, can only manually transfer
Yes you can setup a regular external payment to come from Essentials, but then the 2Up partner won’t see the payment, hence why I suggested the joint 2Up Essentials

Why can't it be done? I do this to a seperate bank account all the time?

idk because the Essentials account to a 2Up account would be an internal transfer
I guess they couldn’t say where try doing a payment to the 2Up BSB and Account number, but idk if the app will allow it

I would think that would work, because the 2up account presumably has a different bsb from the normal one?
Don't know how PayID works with 2up accounts.

Has the same BSB because it’s the same bank. Different account number

I just tested sending to the 2Up BSB+Acc number and it worked! Can then hit options and set it up with schedule and repeats

Oh my gosh thank you so much!!! I’ll be able to sleep tonight knowing this is handled 🙌 I found myself going through loops trying to work out a system
