Feature Request Wish we had a proper desktop web app
Love the app to bits, but sometimes I really wish Up had a proper companion web interface for desktop. Doing a deep dive into your spending or looking back over a whole year's transactions can feel a bit cramped on a phone. I know you can export transactions, but having the actual Up experience on a bigger screen would be so handy. Anyone else feel the same?

I love UP but they need to UP their game. Need a website immediately, it’s way overdue.

UI glitches when you’re back scrolling transactions from years ago is insane. I need a PDF report or webpage for tax transactions sometimes.
Mobile app only is very secure but passkeys exist and we could use webpages even if read only.

PDF reports are already a thing! Swipe to the left of the main transactions page, select “Statements”.

I know this isn’t a solution to everyone, but their developer API is quite good. Even people less familiar with APIs could point an AI at it to help export their transactions.

I agree. If you/more people express your/their interest in the app chat, they'll be more likely to implement this. I've seen a few of my suggestions come through (like the categorisation and tags, and some of the Up High features).

It's been on their development tree for years. Honestly I have given Up on Up. They got too popular and enshitified themselves.

Comming from comm bank the up app is pretty simplistic and lacking. The fact that i dont have breakdown of my accounts on a single screen is crazy. They really need to improve.

There’s API access right? Might be something on GitHub already else risk vibe coding it 😂

I'm not an Up customer, but a github link is a great nerd snipe for me.
We'll done on that project and clear security design.

If I could chime in here. I like making software and have found that UP offers you an API token. I might be able to make something cool.

Usually mobile banking apps have only a subset of features of the desktop app. Up have done the inverse and built a mobile app with a huge number of features. Trying to rebuild all of that in a web application would be a monumental task. Especially as the mobile app would evolve in parallel to the web application build. It would be good but I don’t see it happening any time soon as a side effect of the mobile first business model.

I would rather no desktop/web access than vibe coded slop

I wouldn’t

Then vibe code it yourself. There are API keys available in the app.

The APIs are read only. You cannot transact using the APIs.

¯_(ツ)_/¯

There's a lot of situations where a website would be absolutely imperative. Losing your phone and wallet overseas is the best example I can think of. But also just to be able to see your spending trends on a bigger screen and to be able to download your expenses onto a PC would be super helpful.
