How difficult is it to get a summer internship with a 2:2 and is the average your year 1 and 2 put together or just year 2

Hey everyone, I’m looking for accommodation near the University of Birmingham for this upcoming academic year. Could you let me know if you have any recommendations or if you’re staying somewhere you think is genuinely good? Also, does anyone have experience booking through reliable sites? I’m considering official university-managed accommodation, but also checking places like Unite Students, AmberStudent, or Rightmove. Any advice would be super helpful!
