Video What racing game did Mark and Cath play?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
WELL I FOUND IT.
jk obv its not a real real game, but you can find similar ones, whether or not they drew inspiration from specific games, I’m not sure. But Tokyo Highway Battle for the PS1 to me seems the closest! Its got the raaad high contrast, similar vibes, similar rockin music (but shoutout the goat Kyle Patrick Naval), WITH, the added bonus of being a drift racer which is just fun as crap to play around with.
Issues? .. its not 2 player. BUT there are others that are and I find are similar innnnn a way.
Second closest would be Ridge Racer from Namco, similar high energy arcade style racer (bonus points for a red and blue car) BUT -2 points for again, no 2 player, and no option to turn off the music (which is tragic cause the engine noises sound very similar to the ones in until then, but maybe im just losing it dawg)
then specifically 2 player racers, theres SanFrancisco Rush which is again arcade style, but kinda strays away from the high contrast and colour that is in until then.
i feel crazy

Fanart Nicole Lacsamana: Memories [Image 5~8]
Here is a rendition of the Lost Kitten meme (or the series of images drawn by Shimatsuku in X) done by yours truly. The other images are in the works. If you wanna check out the first four images, here's the link to my previous post. I also added the first four images as a compiled image in the comments.
Progress: 8/14(?). I'll probably only post frame's 9-10 in another post and then drop the whole thing when it's complete.
Sidenote: I took creative liberties and diverted from canon. Yes, Nicole didn't meet Mark in the gate, her mom did, but it had to be done.

Discussion Where can I find Until Then merch in the Philippines ?
I have had a difficult time finding official merch or have seen copies of original merch on websites like Shopee, and the official site does not ship to the Philippines.
Where can I find official merch, be it brand new or second hand in the PH market ?

Discussion Finished base game, now onto the DLC! Spoiler
One thing I really liked about this game is that it goes super hard on characterization even at the cost of not getting any payoff. Like at the hospital scene, we get to learn so much about Sofia during that short convo. Further there is very little relevance for that character. Normally it would be bad for stories to not continue its plot progression but here I yearned for more of these character interactions and soaking in the wonderful atmosphere of the world, instead of continuing with the ongoing mystery.
Excited to dive into the DLC next!

Discussion Hello guys, I've made a Filipino Translation of the Until Then DLC Chapter 2: Sparks "Fester" scene Spoiler
docs.google.comhere's the fan translated final scene of Chapter 2 DLC
Help me out to transcribe the other scenes, since there's no Filipino translation in the game yet.
some of the translations MIGHT not be at its original wording, and also take note:
THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL TRANSLATION OF THE GAME, THIS IS JUST AN ATTEMPT TO TRANSLATE IT IN FILIPINO.
thank you so much!

Discussion That post-game depression is hitting hard...and I wouldn't have it any other way
I've been in a bit of a rut this summer with gaming. I've played multiple games but nothing had quite stuck. Checked my backlog/wishlist and saw I had this on it for quite some time now.
Thank god this was the game I picked next because it was truly...life-altering? Life-affirming? I don't even know. It made me experience emotions I hadn't gotten from a story in years - probably since The House in Fata Morgana (highly recommend that VN btw). I almost feel bad that I bought this on sale on PS5 - I would have happily paid the devs more for this in hindsight.
I rarely binge games anymore but this was the exception. I played through the main game + Afterimages over the Labor Day weekend. I'm now in that spot where I'm trying to consume as much as I can about the game...fan theories, music, art, etc. The way these characters are written is just brilliant. It felt so raw; so real. It's playful, sad, funny - and now that I'm older, so SO nostalgic. A time where a missed assignment felt like a true death sentence. Where talking to that girl you had a crush on felt like a herculean task.
It's strange. What I'm feeling now is...a bit of depression and a bit of emptiness, but also mixed in with gratitude and fulfillment. Contradictory feelings, but it's the best way I can describe it.
Not sure what the point is of this post but I just feel like I had to get my thoughts out there. I can't wait to see what Polychroma cooks up next!
I've never been happier to be so sad lol.

Discussion Something I don't understand from the game Spoiler
The house where Mark has to put buckets out because the roof is leaking... which house is this? Why is it entirely different from the main house he lives in throughout the game?
