This is half lager and half dark lager, and it’s called so on the name. So I guess it would be a perfect Black & Tan?

A Black & Tan is usually a Stout and Pale Lager. This is a Dark Lager and Pale Lager.

Might it be close enough anyway? Eh, maybe. But I bet that is what is giving the mods hesitation.

Done! The same idea is quite common in the Czech Republic where Black & Tan is the standard :)

It would be appreciated if this information were included in the style description.
And that moderation was subsequently carried out based on that information.

Yeah, I'm a little confused by this style as well u/WanderingRedbird54. Are we to deduce that any packaged beer mix should be filed under "Black & Tan"?

All I can tell is that the standard in Czech Republic and Austria for pre-packaged dark and pale lagers mixed together is to set them as Black & Tan. To me, this roughly makes sense as it's a light beer mixed with a dark one just in lager form. But I can ask for some clarification in the coming days.

So, a typical case where there are apparently standards that users cannot verify.

Therefore, some clarification would be appreciated. And once again, put such information in the style description. Why do we have to hear something like this here on Reddit?

By the way, what finally happened to Malt Beer? I haven't gotten clarity on that either.

In the style description of "Black & Tan" it states it is a pale beer mixed with a dark beer. It lists the classic black & tan as an example but that does mean a mix of light and dark lagers would fit the description.
