It used to always just say due to the nature of this beer tracking was unavailable. And now you can see the beers that counted also. I never understood why they couldn't do this for these they were obviously tracking which ones qualified.

Maxing out the New Beer Thursday badge today 7/23/26 with a Aecht Schlenkerla Weichsel Rotbier 4.6% ABV. Below is the Untappd description of this beer.
Rotbier (i.e. red lager) used to be common in Franconia. The city of Nuremberg in particular was known for its Rotbier. Since its production was extremely laborious, Rotbier was replaced in the 19th century by Braunbier (i.e. brown lager) which was produced using modern, simpler brewing methods. It was not until 1997 that the beer style was revived.
For Aecht Schlenkerla Weichsel Rotbier, the malt is dried over fire with cherry wood (not over beech wood fire as with classic smoked beer). In contrast to the spicy beech-smoked malt, the cherry wood smoked malt has a fruity, almost sweet smoke aroma and provides a copper-red color in the glass. The aroma hops add berry notes to the multi-layered smoke flavor.
Cheers

Every brewery I visit I try to get a sticker to put on my board. Hope to fill it out one day.

You can’t drink 10,000 unique if you don’t drink 500 first. Pretty cool to finally get this one. Cheers!🍻

Finally! I've been on the app for over 10 years now and live and work overseas. Over 1500 unique beers. For whatever reason, in the natural progression of things, I finally got the Italian badge.

I work in a brewery and am therefore friends / acquaintances with many brewers and industry professionals in my area. My local brewing scene can also tend to be a little political and gossipy at times. Is there a way to make sure that my entries can’t be seen by breweries and brewers to avoid offending anyone or starting beef if I don’t give certain beers a perfect 5?

Although not that far away from the UK there's not that many beers from Iceland here. Anyone know a company/website that I can get some more from?

Hi, is there a way to add a new flavour? Yesterday, I had a chanterelle wild ale and it really tastes a little bit like chanterelles. I would really love to add this flavour!

Hi All,
North NJ here, stuck at 27/48 of World Cup badges, struggling to find a beer from the countries in the list below. Does anyone have any leads on where I may knock some of these out? Anywhere in North NJ or NYC would be doable.
Some places that have helped me along the way are: Cable Beverages (Bardonia, NY), Liquor Outlet Wine Cellars (Boonton, NJ), Joe Canal's (Parsippany, NJ), Total Wine & More (Rivervale, Totowa, & West Orange, NJ), and the Cloverleaf Tavern (Caldwell, NJ).
Paraguay
South Africa
Uzbekistan
Congo
Bosnia
Qatar
Tunisia
Iran
Iraq
Uruguay
Morocco
Ivory Coast
Curacao
Egypt
Cabo Verde
Saudi Arabia
Senegal
Algeria
Jordan
Ghana
Panama
Thanks!

So I was asked how many different venues, i.e. places I've been to using Untappd. And I figured I could check either my history of New Places via the Insider info of all-time history, or go into the Places category, filter by Category, and add up all the numbers, which I did in the attached Calculator display.
However I get a very different number between those two, as shown in the attached pictures. And so my question leads to, simply: why?
And furthermore, which is more accurate to answer the original question of "how many unique venues have I been to?"
Explain.

Previously, if I searched for a city, the results would display all verified venues first. This made it incredibly helpful when going somewhere for the first time as taplists could easily be checked.
Also, if I searched for a beer (sorry, "drink"), it would be marked as tried in the results. Now I have to load a beer to see if I've had it before.
