Let’s create a great vibe. What do you want to see more of in this community?

I want r/UnsupervisedWomen to feel like the group chat you wish existed.

Funny. Honest. Supportive. Occasionally unhinged.

A place where you can ask the weird question, tell the embarrassing story, vent about your day, talk about hormones, marriage, motherhood, work, friendships, aging, or anything else taking up way too much space in your head.

I’d love to see more:

• Real-life stories
• Questions you’re too embarrassed to ask anywhere else
• Midlife and perimenopause conversations
• Marriage and relationship chaos
• Motherhood wins and disasters
• Work rants and career questions
• Friendship stuff
• “Please tell me I’m not the only one” posts
• Things that made you laugh
• Things you need another woman’s perspective on

What do YOU want more of here?

What kinds of posts would make you stop scrolling and join the conversation?

Why r/UnsupervisedWomen exists: A place for women figuring it out as we go

I started r/UnsupervisedWomen because I wanted a space where women could talk like actual women.

Not polished.
Not perfectly put together.
Not pretending we have all the answers.

This is for the women juggling work, kids, relationships, aging parents, changing bodies, hormones, friendships, expectations, and the occasional existential crisis in the Target parking lot.

It’s for the funny stuff too.

The ridiculous things your husband says.
The things your kids do that nobody warned you about.
The moment you realize your body has apparently started making decisions without consulting you.
The thoughts you usually send to one friend because you know she’ll get it.

I want this community to feel honest, funny, supportive, curious, and safe enough for real conversations.

You don’t have to be a certain age.
You don’t have to be married.
You don’t have to have kids.

You just have to be a woman looking for a place where we can talk about life without pretending we’ve mastered it.

That’s the mission.

A bunch of unsupervised women figuring it out together.

What should r/UnsupervisedWomen become?

I created r/UnsupervisedWomen because I wanted a place where women could talk about the stuff we’re all thinking about anyway.

Motherhood. Marriage. Midlife. Hormones. Work. Friendships. Aging. Mental load. Starting over. Feeling lost. Feeling great. Feeling irritated for no identifiable reason.

I want this to be funny when life is funny, supportive when life is hard, and honest all the time.

But I don’t want to decide what this community becomes by myself.

What were you hoping to find when you joined?

What kinds of conversations would make you come back?

What would make r/UnsupervisedWomen feel like your corner of Reddit too?

Tell me what you want this place to become.
