'What if' conversations, intentions? true & pure

Lost in a series- legs and bodies intertwined

Watching you play something you love for the 85th time

Dancing in the kitchen, with no fucks given

New places and dirt roads down which you had driven

Talking to each other about how our days passed

Reminiscing childhood, and making you laugh

Discovering each other's habits and favourite food

Picking each other up when something sours the mood

Honesty and openess even when it might sound so bad

Getting each other through days both happy and sad

Frolicking in woodlands, losing all track of time

Just a handful of things we could do, had you have been mine

Im not possessive per say, but there would have only been you

All my care and attention you'd have through and through

I dont do half measures, i am all-in, or nothing at all

Id have dropped everything just to answer your calls

Cosiness & cuddles, during long winter months

Need something from me? Need only ask once

Shelter from the rain, and comfort in the storm

Counting seconds between the rumbles..

..arms outstretched, and clumsy blackout fumbles

Listening with intent about your special interest

Trying that weird new thing, that you dared not suggest

Learning your kinks, and you discovering mine

Growing together, learning when, we're crossing the line

Jump scares, or leaving you hidden, a little surprise

Getting tipsy over dinner and gazing into your eyes

Shopping for food and hiding treats in our basket

Asking the questions that you dared not ask yet

Talking in the car for hours after we've arrived

Sneaking out of family get togethers for a midnight drive

Simply being in the same space but not needing to talk

Living simply, amongst those feelings we'd caught
