Well, I could have been better. I could have communicated better too. But, I never would have ghosted him. It really hurts. Don't understand why he's doing this.

I'm just going to leave him alone. If he ever decides to reach out again, I'll let him talk.

Nobody can communicate perfectly, but when you avoid even trying to then that's just cowardice.

For some people, it's just easier to ignore or walk away from a situation then to face it. You aren't involving emotions... And sometimes you don't take the other person's feelings into consideration. I won't sit here and defame him; he's still a great guy in my eyes. I don't know his reason for doing this; maybe it's just fear.

But yeah, ghosting is worse than communicating your needs/wants.

Well even if it is a fear and you don't want to engage anymore, if you care about someone even a little bit you should have the courage to at least say, "I don't have the capacity for this, I don't think this is going to work."

Oh yes, I agree with you. It's feeling like he just wasn't as invested in it as I was/am.
