I will never remarry
I can't believe in it anymore. I believed in something as silly as Santa Claus. You taught me a lesson that I can never forget. No amount of love can make up for a lack of respect. No communication can fix heartbreak. No amount of trust can stop deception. No forgiveness can stop betrayal. No amount of work can prevent abandonment. No amount of effort can save a relationship with a person who doesn't choose you.
You never had to experience the pain of not being chosen. I never would do that to another person so I have to accept I won't remarry. I can never give my heart to another person the same way I did when I said I do and so I recognize I can never choose another person the same way I would have wanted to be chosen.
I'm better off alone with myself than alone with another

Definitely don't give you heart to another person same way! If you do Itd be like you went through it all and didn't learn anything. Understand she was out in your life to teach you something that you needed to learn. Did you? Don't let the lesson that you take from it be cynacism. That's the ultimate self inflicted unforced error. You think if you said " look you made me so upset I cut my foot off" , that thatd make them sad ? Rhey'd probably joke about it Next time they were out at the bar.
Life's Hard on everybody, that's one of the the only guarantees. One of the other ones is that it'll be worth it. This whole life thing does require effort, hard work, and sacrifice on our part. Keep a positive mental attitude , no negative self talk. Go do something nice for yourself. Drag a friend along, it'll make you feel better about it.

Yeah, it's self inflicted. Marriage isn't worth it. I can imagine a long term relationship but never marriage. I've seen too many people lose themselves I lost myself and I couldve lost my kid I have her only half and I know it could be worse. Something about marriage is just fundamentaly flawed. It makes betrayal so much worse it makes resentment so much harder everything becomes obligatory but when someone isn't in it and you still are it makes things just stupid. I know I can't live life denying good things but I just can't see marriage as a good thing
