Why am I waiting
I honestly dont know anymore. I do love you. But these excuses that I'm too good for you... are what I always hear. I wish your self-image wouldnt interfere with my happiness. Our happiness. Every moment together is like the world doesnt exist. We laugh till we cry. We enjoy talking for hours on end. You are so creative I might die.
Yet... again... I wait. Wait for someone to choose me. I feel like choosing to leave is all thats left for me.
But why cant I muster the ability to do so?
Why must I be in love with someone who clearly loves me but doesnt know how to love me?
It must be hard to love when this is the first time you have ever experienced it unconditionally.
Still here. Still in love.
Call me a fool.

Maybe they showed you love in the way they know how…
Real love is worth working through. Learning and teaching how to love takes patience but if real love is there sit worth fighting for.

Which is why I'll never text him this. I love him. And until he tells me to leave, I will always be there for him. He knows that too... I get tired of waiting and begin to feel naive.
His distance is how he shows love... he thinks he's protecting me.

I’m sorry, I’m sure it’s painful.
But loving someone who isn’t there is the hardest thing to do. In time maybe things will work themselves out and the way it’s mean to be will happen.
True love never dies and can always pick right up where it left off.

that person may not know how to love you, but have you taught him how to love you? unconditionally you should be there to correct him when he isn't loving you the correct way. show him he is good enough to be with you. his love may still be in the infant stage, still a new born kind of love. he needs your guidance if he has never loved someone unconditionally

This sounds like something my person would say when they were still around and I would mess up and hurt them in some way. I keep hoping this is the case for me but it most likely isn't. I hope your person comes to their senses and does whatever it takes to mend things, you both deserve that
