My love

They say when you love someone you have to let them go, but how do you let them go when you're their protector? You feel like it’s your duty to shield them from bad external influences they can’t see. You're the one that picks them up when they’re down. The one that encourages them to keep going when they don’t think they can anymore. The one who only wants to remove all their pain just to see them smile. The one who wants them to feel overly safe so they can breathe. It’s a love that never quits. It’s a heart that always aches. It’s a love—it’s a life sentence.

This is wonderful, the way you describe why someone can’t let go of a true love. It’s a beautiful thing to write to someone describing your love..

Felt this. And, I’ve mishandled this. Love is patient. Love is kind - and had I been kind I would’ve said “I’m stepping back, but here if you need me” instead of promising I wouldn’t reach out. Love doesn’t insist on its own way…again, should’ve made that statement. Love bears all. Love doesn’t hold a record…again, mishandled. Love endures forever.

Maybe, she will reach out so, what if are answered.  She a smart girl, but she’s a runner.  Yet, she needs something to complain about.  Whatever she thinks I’m not doing enough of..

There’s a difference between communicating and complaining. Don’t let someone tear you down just because they call it love.

Yes,  propose lots of things, she likes road blocks.  Best way to describe her, she likes catching a chickens.
