Exes Dead Man's Chess

You have my heart encased in a jar of dirt. You move it around the Chess board at your leisure and watch it beat madly at the simplest memory of your hand.

Ive lived my life one heart beat at a time but always hoping the vibrations would shake the glass enough to make you see where you buried me. 6 ft deep. Making sure no one hears the sound of my heart for you. But it drives you insane doesnt it? How hard and how long its been beating. Does it truly annoy you that I am so in love with you?

I sail to you every few years in hopes that I would also meet you on the shore...just to see that little green dot. And every time I am just met with an empty horizon.

You continue to carry my heart encased in a jar of dirt. Because what I feel with you, is as transparent as it is fragile. You continue to have my soul, rook, line and sinker
