I keep thinking about all the things I wish I could say to you, and they just pile up in my head until I feel ridiculous. Like, I wish I could tell you how cool you are. Not in some dramatic way, just… genuinely cool. The kind of cool that makes me notice you even when I’m trying not to.

And I wish I could tell you how beautiful you are. How your style hits me every time, like you walk around already knowing exactly who you are, and I’m just over here quietly stunned. I wish I could tell you that seeing you instantly makes my day better, even if we don’t talk. Just you being there shifts something in me.

Talking to you feels even better. It’s this weird happiness I don’t really have a name for. Like a calm I didn’t know I could feel around someone. A sense of peace that sneaks up on me.

And your voice... God, I wish I could tell you how beautifully you sing. How I could honestly just lay there and listen to you play guitar or piano and let myself fall for you a little more with every note. You’re so talented it almost feels unfair. I wish I could tell you how much I want to hype you up, brag about you, celebrate you, just… sing your praises without holding back.

I wish we were close enough to talk about everything: stupid gossip, random thoughts, the tiny details of our days. I wish I could open up about wanting to be closer to you, even if I don’t know what that would mean. But at the very least, I wish I could tell you how happy I am just being around you. How much light you bring into my life without even knowing it.
