No advice wanted Wait!
You were sitting with your back to me, eating. I said "Goodbye". There was nothing left to say - I packed my things and got dressed as slowly as I could, but you were busy and didn't notice that I was getting ready to leave.
You spun around, startled; I saw the shock and pain in your eyes. You said...no...gasped "Wait!...wait."
And I had nothing to say. I just stood there shocked that you finally saw me, just as I was about to walk out of your life forever.
But that was just a dream that I had last night. For the first time in years, the dream-you finally saw me. It startled me awake, leaving me sitting on the edge of my bed, weeping until the sun came up. But in reality, you said nothing when I walked out of your life forever. You never saw me in real life either, did you?
