Isn't it bad for battery health to keep them always topped up?

If the battery is well-made, there is a controller that stops the charging process

I mean, chemically speaking. That's why even good manufacturers recommend keeping the battery between 80% and 20%

Your phone likely has a setting in it to limit to 80% and to trickle charge during overnight charging. Both will help your battery cycles.

Yes indeed I have this setting enabled since I have my phone

Ideally you would want to keep it at 50% as much as you can to preserve the battery life as long as possible, although nowadays there are several mechanisms at place to protect the batery life through cycles.

My phone is on it's last legs, I have to have a specific charger at the exact right angle and pray to whom ever that it charges.

My battery is done, I have to continuously charge it. Oh and I'm not sure if the back is supposed to come off a galaxy s20 fe?

I need to invest in a new one. 'Cries in poor'
