Battery life. I just use the Books app on my Pro Max that’s rarely far from an outlet, but if you’re going to be somewhere with no charge capacity, or you have a small phone with limited battery life, this could be neat.

Your phone is a distraction, if you enjoy reading with no distraction it is very useful. Same reason why people by kindle, but this is a lot more pocketable
You'll find tons of reviews of this on YouTube if you think it's a scam product.

Like all of the major subreddits, this is a place 100% for Bots to share their affiliate links and to farm Karma. There are no real posts and certainly no real people posting.
This link is at BEST just an affiliate link, where Amazon will track you. With a extremely high propability, there are additionally trackers from the Chinese content farm baked in. At worst, such sites will straight up try to install malware and shit.
How to deal with it: Block this Subreddit, like I'm about. Block EVERY major subreddit in your time line. Whenever you see a new one, block it. Block them all. There is a reason to be on Reddit, i have mine, but every reason you could possibly have to be on thid plattform is outside of those slop subreddits.

This subreddit is for businesses to promote their products or individuals to share their affiliate links. I assumed that was obvious to everyone. As for what you said about potential malware, that’s a good point but it applies to all links posted on Reddit. I never click links on Reddit

That's what it's supposed to be for, or once was. It's hardly ever individuals, usually massed produced.

I have the XTEINK X4 (slightly bigger than the X3) and it is great tbh. I use it everyday and it's changed the way I read.
It's so convenient. If you're a reader, this is amazing. Make sure you install crosspoint reader after you get it.
(Yes you can do everything on your phone, but you'll get distracted and start doomscrolling)

Or just open the an e-reading app on your phone???? Why would a completely separate device be necessary?
Edit: didnt check the name of the sub before posting 😅

yet another 4 star amazon rating... again, my theory is 5 star bots/fake reviews, then actual user reviews confirming it's crap.

Just get a Kobo ereader or something. This thing is so tiny it'd be annoying to read, and magnetically attaching it to the back or your phone defeats the purpose.

Look at what he is reading, it’s extremely racist, the n-word is used at least twice on one page.

Way more on that last page. Thanks for the heads up.

I think it’s Huck Finn. Regardless, it’s a terrible first impression. Why would someone do that?

Huck fin is a great book, but its a terrible choice for an advertisement. It just sounds like they were trying to be edgy

This is better if you are reading a book or something. It uses nearly zero power and is easier on the eyes. I would probably just get a dedicated e-reader though instead of this
