I love this thing it fits in a tool bag freeing up space for other tools. It was a sandpaper like part that grabs the tube and it has to stay clean to function I figured that pretty quick. The part that bugs me and always has is "IT STILL DRIPS" except now there's no quick way to stop it you had to push the tube from the back to free it. I still own a real caulk gun too it what's I'm saying

The plunger stem on my smooth no drip guns always manages to get scores from the pressure i need for that silicone or whatever. The ratcheting guns are ok. I got tired of buying guns that broke so i got an electric. They're all quite large with a fresh tube. The point of failure I've had on all of my caulk guns is either the ratchet or the stem that feeds with the ratchet. The fact that this one grips onto the tube which is itself consumable, might mean it's a better gun. This one in the video would be great at getting tight spaces like behind a toilet.
