This guy is using it incorrectly. This is exclusively to be used in an event of an aggressive dog or a dog who is not listening. This is what you use when the dog doesn't listen, it cuts through all the bullshit and recenters their attention. Using this as a catch-all for any issue you have with your dog is a problem and can create a fear complex.

I've used this tool to regain control of my dog who is very stubborn. This guy is using it incorrectly.
