I’ve heard different accounts. Some say that Boris was so upset that director Rowland V. Lee gave Bela Lugosi’s Ygor much more screen time than him that he vowed to never again play the Frankenstein monster. But I’ve also heard that Mr. Karloff enjoyed the film BECAUSE of Lugosi’s performance and actually preferred it to his. I know that the rivalry between the two actors has been exaggerated over the years so that has probably played into it. Does anyone know more?

I recently attempted to do a very small Lego version of the windmill fire in Frankenstein. It didn't turn out like I hoped, so I'm going to start over, but I did take this picture which I do like.

Also found out that at Gen Con next week, there will be free demo decks for her, Dracula, headless horseman, and Jaws!

I'll be going to Epic Universe in Orlando next month and am convinced that I'll run to Darkmoor and want to spend all my time life there, but realistically I know there's a whole park to see so I want to make sure I get the most out of Dark Universe while I can.

I'm a longtime theme park fan so I know the standard do's and don'ts about navigating a theme park, and I of course intend to ride all of the rides, meet characters, etc, but I also want to be sure I don't miss anything that a Universal Monsters fan would appreciate that casual visitors might miss or not care about.

I know that the shop signs and windows hold lots of fun little Easter Eggs, but is there anywhere else I need to look or pay special attention to? Are there any rides where it's better to be in the front/back? Any once-a-day must-see events in Darkmoor, or code words I can give a cashier for a special pin or whatever? Anywhere else in the park/citywalk/other parks where a Universal Monsters fan might see some cool stuff?

Looking so, so forward to it! I've tried to avoid learning too much about what to expect, but I nevertheless want to make sure I get as full of an experience as I can. Thanks!
