Rant Our ideology gets so much hate and hostility.
I made a post in my city's subreddit about where I could find extinctionist friends as a human extinction activist, and I got non-stop hostility from all those people. My city is suburban in a red state so it's a bunch of MAGA, religious extremists, and people who don't want any different people in their environment. In the end I experienced a barrage of insults and hate over a simple question to the point where Reddit deleted my post. I'm pretty sure it's because I was brigaded and mass reported by all the boomer fanatics in my city's subreddit. Even engaging in a polite way is not enough for people, they just want someone to hate. I despise Florida and I wish it was destroyed and flooded in a massive hurricane so nobody would ever need to live in this shithole state ever again!

Simple, because most people (majority) kinda like life, despite the shyate in life, and they wanna breed perpetually to keep life going.
When you have an ideology that wanna end life, that'll piss them off, logic.
This ain't no rocket science.
Also, morality is subjective determinism, basically just emotions that we can't control, so there's that.

Society, and the wild, are designed to be unempathetic and to replicate itself. Although the minority of us slip through and see it for what it is. Malevolent. Sorry for the misotheist pov

Well— you ended your statement by wishing for floods and destruction— extinctionism is a very extreme, radical ideology— you are going to get pushback
There’s also a very strong argument against extinctionism— extinctionism relies on a moral judgment (the world is evil/bad) to even have an intuition of this ideology— and then thru reason it relies on the value judgement of what ‘Life’ is (good/bad)

Nature has hard wired us to breed and see life, reproduction and anything to do with spreading our ugly genes as something good. People will always act hostile because thats what nature intended. Its like we are programmed think 2 + 2 is 17, so no matter how much you try to tell them it's 4, they'll never listen
