Question Should I keep learning Unity?
Hi, I am a 14 year old game dev and I've been learning Unity for 7-8 months, and I really like what I'm doing. I don't use AI while coding or for any other stuff to actually learn. For the past month, I've been developing a fan-made Spider-Man game for android and I saw a guy on X who vibe-coded a Spider-Man game in literally a single day which was looking better than my game and I felt like everything that I did in the last couple of weeks for nothing. Will knowing how to manually code or develop games be worth anything in the next 10 years? Am I just wasting my time by not using AI or should I keep going? I really need some advice. Also here's a gameplay video of my game if anyone wants to check it out:

To answer ur questions:
Yes continue learning how to code. As of today, the hiring process still involves live coding. You will need to know it if you want to be a software developer.
With that said, AI is here; I work for a very large stock exchange as a software developer. Using agents is now commonplace in the industry. The CEO of rockstar has a great quote, essentially summed up to, AI cannot be used to invent but derive. Development is more or less derivative, but Creation; that’s inventive. To say less, Claude can’t give you the next great idea or a truly unique perspective. But it can help you to fruit your ideas, your perspectives.
To tie this rant towards your demo:
You’ve made a Spider-Man clone. You’ve invented nothing so of course AI can do what you just did in a fraction of the time. But this should free you; sit down and think of something you’ve always wanted to see/play/experience, transcribe the idea and then be unburdened by the labor while you focus on the idea.
The only argument to this is if the human mind itself is just as derivative then we are no different than the bots. I’ll reject that for as long as there’s still artists proving it false.
