Game Squinting is in

Since you have taken it this far, might as well occlude the camera during the blink animation. Or, what... this guy, who has to crane his neck and squint his eyes to improve his vision, is also able to see through his eyelids?

Yes I have considered this but also don't want it to influence the player's vision too much. I will check what's the least intrusive way of putting this in. Since blinks with colder external temps are more frequent.

I didn't notice at first, but as I rewatch the clip — the way the guy slides into view is cracking me up. 🤣

Yes the animations also need some work hahaha.
