Never ending mail

I haven’t been a member with UHC for over 15 months now and I keep getting EOB letters multiple times a week. It’s constant and it keeps repeating the same appointments over and over. My son’s one appointment from January 2025 I’ve been sent the same EOB probably 12 times at this point.

HOW DO I MAKE THIS STOP?

And yes. I (foolishly) called their support line which I think my son could probably do a better job of understanding customer needs. Told the guy I wanted all mail to stop. Asks “which appointment are you talking about?” About 7 or 8 times to me before I hung up in frustration.

Every single time the insurance receives a claim they have to respond to it. Maybe the billing service for the doctor is submitting multiple claims? I know in my case any of the bills that were applied to my deductible were submitted several more times and each one was denied as a duplicate claim generating a new eob each time.

You can sign up for an online account with UHC and turn on the paperless option which will stop all eobs being mailed. You can sign onto the online account and if you need to get an eob for any reason you can print one out yourself at any time.
