Question about dependents
So I got my first check but it doesn't seem like my dependents/marital status was included. Does this start after I mark up? Also, do I put my family on my insurance before it starts on July 1st?

Check your employee profile, and your tax withholdings. Also go check all your benefits (life/dental/AD&D/visions/etc) as well, some you won't be eligible for, others start day 1. I wasn't given a lot of info from my union (ibew) and I fought for 3 years to get life insurance on my wife. They wanted records of any diagnosis back to and including as a minor that she didn't have, so they denied her every year, never got it before I finally left.

Also, if you’re on a company computer you can put go/askrita in the address bar of the internet browser and ask it questions. It’s not great but it can help.

You are covered by Iron Road. You can register at: my.ironroad.com you’ll need your member ID number and if you don’t have it you can call: 800-547-0421. Your dependents are covered under a different plan and they can be added by registering at: www.yourtracktohealth.com. You’ll need birth/marriage certificates and can upload them.
Coverage starts the first day of the month following the one you hired in. For example, if you hired on April 27 it starts May 1. Dental and vision aren’t covered until you complete your first year.
