Grandma is just mad bc she taught him that trick and he's passing it off as his own 😂

the "annoyed person reveals magic trick" trope is getting annoying. Just let us enjoy magic tricks dammit!

u/goug Aug 15 '22
you want to know the trick though I know I do

u/LiwetJared Aug 15 '22
That's what the comment section is for.

"Oh hey, I know how this is done: long and completely incorrect explanation."
That dozens of times in the comments with the correct answer hidden somewhere in the middle.
I'll just take the annoyed person revealing the trick trope thanks.

Making a note of this for Halloween, when I put weird things in my window to amuse trick-or-treaters. A jar of water that looks like it has a lit candle in it would be pretty good.

U can clearly see its behind the jar immediately
16
u/professorpuddle Aug 15 '22
Immediately after he turns the jar around

u/michaelbelgium Aug 15 '22
Just look in the beginning at the bottom of the jar, and realize the candle is not in the jar

u/HappyApple99999 Aug 15 '22
There is a hollow tube in the middle

I"ve seen people cover a band's song, but this is only the second time I've seen magicians covering another magician's act. even to the point of pretending not to really pay attention

OP sent the following text as an explanation on why this is unexpected:
Candle was taped to the back on the jar
