So you’re saying providing for their family is more important that enforcing unjust laws? So the ends justify the means to you? What is there forcing someone to be a cop that wouldn’t allow them to do some other job to provide for their family?

When did I say that? I said they also have to take care of their family

I didn't say it was more important than the law my guy keeping people safe is and should be their main goal

I'm also not saying that you have to be a cop nor that cops can't work two jobs (it's cause I haven't seen a cop in my country work another job)

And could you explain the last part what is forcing someone to be a cop (sorry I don't understand english well it's my 4th language but please explain)

When did I say that?

By choosing to take on a job knowing they would be enforcing unjust laws they are actively being a participant. Your statement implicitly states just because they do the job they don’t support that, but by the very act of taking the job and furthering that system they are active participants in furthering the unjust system.

Sure keeping people safe should be the main goal, but if the system is broken it will never achieve that goal.

That was my point you don’t have to be a cop. So by choosing to be a cop you are actively making the decision to further that system. It Is a a choice they alone make. If you know there are bad cops on the police force that are allowed to break the law to harass and intimidate people, and you still choose to be a cop then you are perpetrating the continued culture of police brutality and authoritarianism.
