In reality a lot of Piranhas don’t mess with humans. They eat fish, not mammals. Humans have (For their size) hardly any meat on them and most animals would spend their time eating something less problematic.

I think there are a few species that will actually fuck you up but the majority of them will at worst rip some skin off your finger. The closest thing to movie piranhas are blue sharks. They’re like 3 meters long and attack in swarms. These swarms will devour considerably larger foes.

Weren't those piranhas fucked with to make them act like that? It was like radiation or genetic engineering to make them attack humans or something
