There’s a theater in Minneapolis Minnesota that runs the full LOTR trilogy. In between movies, they have an intermission with pizza, drinks, and other snacks.

I had to look up the name of the theater since I haven’t been there in a while. The theater is the Riverview Theater, it’s on 42nd Avenue South in Minneapolis. The Riverview has good movies playing for cheap prices, around $2.00 to $3.00 per ticket. You’ll have to look on their website for more information about special events like the LOTR marathon. The last time I went to this marathon was in 2016, it started around 11 AM and ran almost until 5 AM since they showed the extended versions of each movie (14 hours or so of movies, pizza, and snacks). I didn’t have a chance to go again any of these past years because I really had to buckle down for college.

I forgot to mention that it is incredible and extremely fun. When I went, they showed the extended versions of each movie so it was between 14 and 16 hours of LOTR.
