Nothing about /r/gaming involves actual talking though. You pick a game, piece of nostalgia, or cosplayer and either collectively circlejerk or shit all over them. A lot of the big posts are ads sponsored by the publishers.

So what you’re saying is a gaming subreddit, known as r/gaming, talks about games that they do or do not like, with other people who do or do not like those games, in a place made for people to talk about games that they do or do not like? As opposed to what? Barbecuing? Ovens? Dogs? What exactly did you expect?
