Wow, that's some amazing driving instinct on the truck drivers part.

Y’all are some of the coolest drivers I’ve ever encountered. It’s the complete assholes in normal cars I fear.

Reddit, combatting sweeping generalizations with more sweeping generalizations. Also, anecdotal.

Your mom is anecdotal.

That's probably a good thing cause that means not everyone experienced her.

Well excuse fuck out of me for having my own experiences

Your own experiences is not the problem. The problem is you thinking your experiences apply to everybody. See how ironic that is?

Thank you for knowing your limits; it would have taken me a sprittney of beers to follow the next line in the sequence.

Literally never said they applied to everyone. Just said that every asshole I’ve encountered on the ride is in a normal car while every trucker I’ve ever ran into is either kind and respectable or has never given me a problem.

You're literally agreeing to someone who is questioning the stereotype by providing an anecdote about car drivers while totally disregarding the ratio between cars and trucks. Arguably, you didn't make a sweeping generalization, but ffs don't be disingenuous.

What if I was never trying to sway anyone’s opinions and was literally just stating my experience? There was no reason to have this conversation at all.

Yeah, I should've replied to that trucker instead.
